| The New Market Volunteer Fire Dept and Rescue Team’s 14th Annual Easter Parade and Egg Hunt will be held on Saturday April 19, 2025. The event will kick off with a parade which will line up on the Old A.J. Highway at the old Lost Creek Golf Course at 4pm. The parade will begin at 5pm, ending at New Market Fire Dept with an Easter Egg Hunt to follow with over 10,000 eggs with cash prizes for the lucky winner. The Grand Marshal will be Mayor for Knox County Glen Jacobs also known as Kane from WWE. There will be craft vendors along with food vendors on site. If anyone would like to be in the parade floats, cars, trucks, jeeps, horses, bands, motorcycles, four wheelers and any other type of vehicles just show up, no registration needed.
